Part of Closed Art Gallery and Decor Online Auction (timed auction by Prime Auction Solutions)

Status: Sold

Framed decorative print depicting an 18th century interior scene with three female figures gathered around a canopied bed, titled Le Lever. The composition is presented under glass with a wide cream mat, blue fillet border, and a black molded frame, giving it a formal gallery presentation. The lower margin includes printed French verse panels, and the reverse shows a full paper backing with wire hanger and an Artistic Gallery label from Wheaton, Maryland. This piece offers strong wall presence and traditional European taste, suitable for bedroom, sitting room, or salon style interiors. The imagery, typography, and presentation suggest a reproduction or later restrike after an earlier French subject rather than a documented original impression. Dimensions: 19 x 23”.
