Status: Sold

Mixed-media drawing or ink composition on toned paper, signed lower left Heru Pal Genre and dated 1973, presenting a dense figurative montage with theatrical, folkloric, and surreal imagery. The scene combines multiple faces, costumed figures, animals, mountainous landscape forms, and decorative patterning, rendered in intricate crosshatching and pen work that gives the sheet strong visual rhythm and narrative complexity. The work is shown matted and framed, with additional photographs of the sheet and reverse. The verso reveals age toning and mounting tape at the edges, and the composition appears to be executed on paper rather than canvas or board. A compelling period work for collectors of graphic art, studio drawing, or symbolic figural compositions. Dimensions: 28 x 22”.
