Part of Closed Art Gallery and Decor Online Auction (timed auction by Prime Auction Solutions)

Status: No sale

Silverplate toast rack or letter holder with a shaped rectangular body, arched carry handle, and four ball feet. The side rails feature repeating pierced floral and foliate ornament, while the curved ends and projecting side arms give the piece a refined late Victorian to early 20th century tableware look. The polished interior and elevated form suggest use as a breakfast toast rack, though it also displays well as a desk or serving accessory. The design combines functional compartmental spacing with decorative openwork panels, making it attractive for both traditional dining settings and silverplate collections. No maker's mark is visible in the provided images, so attribution is left open. Size: approximately 7 in. H.
