#7472 • Silverplate Pierced Basket with Swing Handle, 8 in.

Part of Closed Art Gallery and Decor Online Auction (timed auction by Prime Auction Solutions)

Status: Sold

Decorative silverplate basket with an oval body, pierced gallery sides, and an openwork swing handle featuring stylized geometric and foliate motifs. The body stands on four small ball feet, and the underside appears stamped with a maker or silverplate mark, though it is not fully legible in the provided images. The design suggests an early 20th century decorative table accessory suitable for bonbons, small pastries, or calling card display. The pierced construction and engraved swag border give it an elegant presentation quality for collectors of silverplate hollowware. Size: approximately 8 in. high including handle.
