#7337 • Contemporary Abstract Figurative Photograph, Female Figure in Flame and Feather Forms, Pink and Magenta Tones on Canvas, 28 x 40"

Part of Closed Art Gallery and Decor Online Auction (timed auction by Prime Auction Solutions)

Status: Sold

A dramatic abstract figurative work in which the form of a female figure emerges from and dissolves into sweeping, flame-like and feathered passages. Rendered in luminous pinks, magentas, and deep purples, with flashes of solarized green and electric blue, the image hovers between portraiture and pure abstraction — the suggestion of windswept hair and a turned profile giving way to fluid, fire-like movement across the surface. The treatment recalls photographic solarization and multiple-exposure technique, where light and shadow are reversed and layered to transform a recognizable subject into something dreamlike and elemental. The vertical composition and saturated palette give the piece a bold, romantic intensity. Printed on canvas and mounted on a wood stretcher with hanging hardware, ready to display. A striking, emotive statement piece, well suited to a contemporary interior or any setting that would welcome a work of dramatic color and movement. 28 x 40"
