#9193 • Harper's Weekly Wall Street Engraving Print

Part of Closed Art Gallery and Decor Online Auction (timed auction by Prime Auction Solutions)

Status: Sold

Harper's Weekly engraved newspaper print depicting a large public gathering before a monumental colonnaded building, identified in the printed caption as “The Great Cleveland Meeting of Business Men in Wall Street.” The sheet shows the periodical masthead at top with volume and issue information, presenting the image in the original antique newspaper format rather than as a later reproduction. The detailed crowd scene, architectural setting, and historical subject make it an appealing piece for collectors of 19th century Americana, political ephemera, and illustrated journalism. This example appears as a single-page black and white engraving on paper, suitable for display, study, or archival collection. No confirmed frame is visible, and no exact dimensions are provided in the image, so the size is based on the visible format of a typical full newspaper page presentation. Size: approximately 15" H.
