Part of Closed Art Gallery and Decor Online Auction (timed auction by Prime Auction Solutions)

Status: Sold

Poster print or illustrated sheet titled "La Revue de Printemps a Vincennes" with the subtitle "La Charge," depicting a dramatic military review scene with cavalry and infantry advancing beneath early aircraft and dirigibles. The composition combines martial pageantry with pioneering aviation imagery, giving the piece strong appeal for collectors of French militaria, aeronautical prints, and illustrated ephemera. The image is presented as a large horizontal sheet with printed French text at top and bottom and a central fold visible through the composition, suggesting publication or broadsheet format rather than a later framed reproduction. Muted tones and detailed linework emphasize both the parade ground spectacle and the period fascination with flight. Size: approximately 18" H.
