#6876 • Pair of Mid-Century Style Walnut-Finish Wooden Magazine Racks with Divided Interiors, 19" H

Part of Historic Manor Downsizing Auction (timed auction by Prime Auction Solutions)

Status: Sold

A pair of mid-century style wooden magazine racks in a warm walnut-toned finish, likely American, mid-20th century in character. Each floor-standing rack presents a gently arched crest rail with an elongated oval handhold cut-out, the sides shaped in a soft, scalloped profile that terminates in splayed, bracket-form feet. The rectilinear body is constructed with panel sides and a slanted front rail for easy access, while the interior is fitted with a fixed central divider creating two compartments suitable for magazines, newspapers, or folios. The surfaces display attractive, varied wood grain, and the matched form suggests they were intended as companion pieces—ideal flanking a fireplace, sofa, or reading chair in a period-inspired interior. Size: 14 x 12 x 19" Bid per piece, final bid x 2
