A set of three glazed bone china character figures from Royal Doulton’s Charles Dickens series, England, modeled as David Copperfield, Uriah Heep, and Fagin. Each stands in a theatrical, narrative pose upon an integral square plinth, the figures finished in deep black coats with contrasting flesh tones and hand-painted facial detailing; David Copperfield is shown in a gentleman’s ensemble holding a hat, Uriah Heep with clasped hands and deferential stance, and Fagin in a long coat with bent elbows and watchful expression.
