#7250 • $3,750+ Italian Rectangular Beaded-and-Ribbon Moulded Wood Wall Mirror, Traditional Style, 44"

Part of Historic Manor Downsizing Auction (timed auction by Prime Auction Solutions)

Status: Sold

A traditional rectangular wood wall mirror, framed in a warm medium-brown finish and enriched with classical moulded ornament. The frame presents a clean, architectural profile with a gently stepped outer surround, the inner sight edge articulated by a pronounced bead-and-reel band that reads crisply against the mirror plate. Along the inner frieze, a repeating ribbon-and-scroll (guilloche-like) motif forms a continuous decorative course, lending a neoclassical note associated with Regency and Louis XVI revival vocabulary. The overall effect is tailored and formal, suited to over-console or hall placement, and easily integrated with both traditional and transitional interiors. Construction appears to be assembled mitred mouldings with applied decorative trim, finished to emphasize the relief and shadow lines. Size: 33" x 44"
