#6632 • Stunning Art Glass Covered Compote with Applied Blue Loop Stem, 14"

Part of Historic Manor Downsizing Auction (timed auction by Prime Auction Solutions)

Status: No sale

Hand-blown Art glass covered compote featuring a rounded opaque white globe bowl with a matching lid topped by a sea-blue swirl finial. The bowl is raised on a sculptural clear-to-blue pedestal formed from multiple applied looping and twisted arms that converge to a circular foot, showing characteristics of hot-glass application and artisanal shaping. Interior surfaces display a soft opalescent wash that harmonizes with the bluish accents. This striking, organic silhouette functions as a decorative centerpiece or display vessel and will appeal to collectors of studio glass and artful tabletop objects.6 x 6 x 14”
