#4134 • Portrait Oil Painting of a Red-Haired Girl in Ornate Gold Frame

Part of Country Club Mansion Downsizing Online Auction (live auction by Prime Auction Solutions)

Status: No sale

This oil painting depicts a young girl with striking red hair, seated in profile with delicate facial features rendered in fine brushwork. The artist signed the work "Amy" in the lower right corner, indicating authorship. The painting is set within an elaborate gold frame characterized by classical baroque-style ornamentation featuring intricate floral motifs, bead molding, and scrollwork. The frame appears to be constructed of wood with a gilded finish that complements the warm tones of the portrait. Its craftsmanship includes detailed carving and embossing, common to finely made gallery frames. Notably, the frame exhibits some areas where the gilded surface has worn, revealing the wooden substrate beneath, which could reflect age but does not affect the painting itself. This artwork offers a charming and evocative representation suitable as a distinguished addition to a personal or professional art collection. Size: 15" x 18"
