A contrasting dark ground ring highlights the outer floral swags while an outer braided border completes the composition. The design reads as Aubusson-inspired, with a soft, low-cut pile that produces a subtle sculpted effect across the floral motifs. Rug is constructed on a woven foundation with a cut-pile face, stitched edge binding and short knotted fringe visible at the ends. Backing photos show the woven foundation and sewn perimeter.
